Chris is a Vice President at State Street Corporation (SSC) in the Corporate Continuity Division heading up the Incident Management and Process Continuity (end to end dependency analysis) programs globally. State Street is a global financial services institution with headquarters in Boston and Quincy, Massachusetts along with 69 offices in 26 locations internationally. Chris' staff is responsible for 7 x 24 on call Incident Management status for the corporation globally with one staff member located in London. Another area of responsibility is the overall business continuity training at SSC which includes database and Business Continuity 101 training, as well as facilitating Simulation Exercises with Business Continuity Managers and SSC Executive Management.

Chris previously worked for Fidelity Investments in Boston, Massachusetts where she was responsible for the Business Continuity and Incident Management Programs for their Retail Brokerage Division which included overseeing their 77 Investor Centers nationally.

Chris is the President of the Northeast Disaster Recovery Information X-Change (NEDRIX) organization and has been a Board member for ten years. NEDRIX is a non-profit organization with more than 1,500 active business continuity / risk analyst professional. One of Chris' roles with NEDRIX has been the involvement in partnering with governmental agencies to assist in coordinating bi-directional communications, evacuation and re-entry plans and overall business continuity and emergency response initiatives with the private / public sector, as well as participating in and facilitating regional Simulation Exercises. These agencies include the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA), Department of Homeland Security, the Center for Disease Control (CDC), as well as the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

When the Governor's Summit on Pandemic Preparedness occurred in 2006 at the Boston Convention Center, Chris was asked to be a panel member acting as a subject matter expert. The Massachusetts Department of Health and Human Services then contacted Chris to participate on similar panels regionally in Massachusetts during 2006.

Some of Chris' speaking engagements have occurred at Bentley College, the New England Consortium of Schools, Secure World Conference, the Continuity Insights Conference, Disaster Recovery Journal Conference and the Strohl Conference.

Chris is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) and has worked in the business continuity industry for eleven years.

Chris is a Board Member of the Business Network of Emergency Resources (BNet) in New York which developed the Corporate Emergency Access System (CEAS). Chris was integral in the implementation of the CEAS Program in Boston.

In 2007 Chris was an On-Line Instructor for Boston University directing the System Wide Compliance Planning & Strategy course.

Chris also resides on Secure World's Steering Advisory Council.
